"BvdV - The Dutch Engineer" (dutchengineer)

I just recieved my BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering(without ever really studying Electrical Engineering since I studied Automotive which is a sub-study of Electrical Engineering at my university). Apparently I’m a ‘real’ engineer now!
I’ve already started my masters in Automotive Technology, in which I’ll mainly focus on in vehicle control systems, especially EV/hybrid energy management systems.
You can post Renaults, Alpines and Matras below to congratulate me.

Congrats, but even with that degree I’ll bet you can’t make a lucus electrical system work or is that the final? If you say “this is logical and will work” you fail.

Nah Lucas Electronics are too unlogical. I did make a smokey power converter once during an experiment though, so I guess that qualifies me to work on Lucas systems, haha.

Thanks! I’m gonna try to keep EVs and Hybrids somewhat fun in the future. And more EVs means more petrol for us right?
Damn kinja, but yeah I know.

Thanks! It indeed is, next to being home to truck and former car manufacturer Daf, and many other interesting industries. It’s sometimes called the smartest region in the world for a reason.

Neato. To be a licensed engineer here in the United States of Trump you need a fancy stamp.

That’s if you get the PEng designation, though you do get a fancy ring for graduating.
